The Crèche operates every weekday
morning from 9.30am to 12.00pm. We also offer afternoon sessions
on Wednesdays and Fridays from 12.45pm to 3.15pm. The Crèche
is open only during the normal school terms and closes over
school holidays.
The Crèche is licensed for a maximum
of 26 children per session - 18 children over 2 years of age
and up to 8 under 2 years of age. A cot is provided in a quiet
area of the Crèche if very young children require a
nap during the session. Since there is no designated area for
the under 2’s, we ask that the child is able to walk before
being enrolled.
Children may be pre-booked for a permanent space at the Crèche
for up to two morning sessions per week. There are a small
number of casual spaces available each morning and teachers
are able to let you know by 8.45am if there is a casual space
available for that morning. Currently there are permanent
spaces available for both afternoon sessions. Any siblings,
including babies, of booked children must use one of the casual
spaces if they are planning to stay for the session.

of responsibility and to enjoy the opportunity to be independent.

For two or more children: $27 session
Payment of donations is required in advance for the term.
(There is no donation requested when you are a rostered helper
- see Caregiver involvement below)
We are a non-profit organisation and donations from caregivers
using the Crèche are a very necessary part of our running
costs. We do receive some government funding, but rely heavily
on these donations and your participation in fundraising activities.
With the introduction of 20 hours free ECE for children over
3 years of age, it was the wish of our families
attending then to continue reqesting the donation as a
top up to the Ministry funding in lieu of running small fundraising
projects to keep our budget sustainable.

You are always welcome to stay with your
child during the Crèche session and this is a great
way to meet other parents and caregivers. Tea and coffee is
available.
We ask that each family arranges to help at the Crèche
for three sessions per term - this includes tasks such as
preparing the childrens' snacks and tidying toys away so that
the staff are able to concentrate on the supervision and teaching
of children. No donation is required for sessions where a
caregiver is rostered to help.
You can add your name to the help roster on the Crèche
noticeboard or else make it easy by emailing
the Crèche Supervisor with your preferred dates and
she can put your name on the roster for you.
Note: We are a nut-free environment.
Children should not bring any nut products to a creche session.
